HUNTING REGULATIONS AND OTHER SERVICES

Fellow
Hunters, Over the last decade, Mt. Hide has been one of the most consistent producers of trophy Whitetails in North America. “It’s simple, we search out and acquire hunting areas because of the quality of the bucks that live there”. To consistently harvest trophy animals, it’s not only about a famous state, county, or river drainage, but more about “pockets” of antler quality. These relatively small pockets produce antler sizes which edge out other nearby areas. One tract of land may produce a bruiser this year, but then not again for several years. When one area is in a “down year”, another will be in an “up year”. Therefore, it takes thousands upon thousands of acres to level the field. Mt. Hide’s skills and efforts to manage this “balancing act” are a primary contributor to their success. Although there is no guarantee that you will fill a tag, you are guaranteed that you are in an area of the highest trophy potential. It’s hard to believe that 10 years has passed since we guided our first hunt back in 1998. This last decade has flown by, leaving great friendships and memories. Now heading into our 11th season, our commitment to hard work and success will continue to take priority. I would like to thank the many friends that have hunted with us throughout the years and look forward to many more successful seasons. Steve Purviance Mt. Hide personnel are some of the best in the business. The majority of our camps will be coordinated and overseen by one or more of the following staff members. Below you’ll meet some of the Hunt-Coordinators and Field-Managers that keep the various hunts running smoothly. Not only are they seasoned and experienced hunters, but also very professional, hard-working, and honest.
