BIG GAME
NEW MEXICO ELK PRIVATE RANCH HUNT
This
private ranch is located in north central New Mexico and encompasses over
82,000 acres of pristine mountain terrain, grassy meadows, granite rock
faces, river bottoms and High Mountain clean air. Few areas in America can
boast of finer elk hunting. An average trophy bull will score 300-340 BC
points. Bulls in the range of 350 to 400 have been taken on the ranch, but
are the exception. We have personally enjoyed several unforgettable hunts on
this ranch and look forward to many more experiences.
Dates & Rates: Archery – Sept.10-14

Includes: Lodging, Meals, and Field Transportation
TEXAS PRONGHORN
GUIDED-RIFLE
This region of the Texas panhandle produces monster antelope every year. The Texas Department of Wildlife issues limited permits only to ranchers with substantial antelope herds and high buck numbers. These large, vast, private ranches are hard to access, which has led to little or no hunting pressure in the past. The result is high numbers of mature bucks. This is a very enjoyable hunt due to the pleasant weather and the numbers of animals seen, not only antelope but other species as well. Licenses can be ordered by phone at (800) 895 4248 or purchased over the internet at www.mthide.com .
Dates: 3-days, Sept. 30 Oct. 2
SELF-GUIDED-RIFLE
New for 2006: Self-guided Pronghorn hunt. Self-guided hunters will be shown the property boundaries, familiarized with specific areas, and given a ranch-specific permit. Hunters will be responsible for getting themselves to and from the hunting area.
Dates: 3-days, Oct. 6-8
Rooms and Meals ARE NOT included. Motel reservations will be made.

TEXAS QUAIL
This area of the Texas Panhandle is one of the last strongholds for wild-bird numbers like they were in the “old days”. Flushing 12-15 coveys per day, holding 20-30 birds per covey, is common on this 23,000 acre getaway. Fabulous bird-hunting is not all you’ll enjoy. A brand new 3,600 sq/ft. lodge and home-cooked meals, provides top-notch accommodations in a pristine setting.
