Don’t
overlook our muzzleloader season in Oklahoma. Northwest Oklahoma is home to the
states largest bucks and many bruisers are taken each year during this time. The
terrain varies from thick river bottoms to large canyon country with dense cedar
draws. This is a transitional time of the year for our bucks. This hunt is
scheduled at the beginning of the rut and the mature bucks become very active
and begin harassing does. Muzzleloader
stands are positioned near feeding and bedding areas within 100 yards of the
primary travel routes. Our best buck to date scored 204 7/8. We highly recommend
