M.H.O.  leases over 30,000 acres in the Platte and Plains regions in the Nebraska panhandle.  The Plains region consists primarily of vast rolling hills and sparse timber, adjoining irrigated corn and alfalfa. The deer in this open country move great distances, sometimes several miles, to and from food sources.  Stands and blinds are positioned overlooking vast expanses of country offering a very unique hunt.  Our Platte regions consists of several miles of dense river bottoms over-looked by rough cap-rock bluffs, with irrigated alfalfa as the primary food source. Hunters are stationed along various vantage points around the dense corridors of cover along the river edges.  Most of the bucks harvested will range from 130-150, with a definite possibility of 170+B&C animals.  These areas will occasionally produce trophy Mule deer, which can be taken on the same tag. Tags can be ordered by phone at (402) 471-0641 or over the internet by logging onto Hunting Regulations . For any additional information or questions, contact us at: (580) 921-2555
